The Lynkirk Church of Christ in Austintown, Ohio will be celebrating its 50th anniversary with a special service to be held on Sunday, May 17th. Services begin at 10:30 AM. Music will be provided by the local Christian band Mercy Rising. An open house luncheon will be held following the service beginning at noon until 3:00 PM. RSVP for the luncheon is appreciated. Our regular Wednesday night Bible study will continue this week, Wednesday, April 29th, at 5:30 PM with a special viewing of the movie The Passion of the Christ as we continue our study of the chronological events recorded within the four gospels. We are taking a break this week from the text to view the movie, then will resume the following Wednesday evening with the text as we study events after Jesus was condemned to suffer the crucifixion. |
